Luxor Satellite controllers reduce potential Wi-Fi coverage issues often seen on sites requiring multiple Luxor controllers. Luxor Linking and the Luxor Satellite offer an affordable option for designing and expanding upon Luxor ZD and Luxor ZDC systems.

Luxor Linking allows for a single control point on sites requiring multiple Luxor ZD or Luxor ZDC controllers. Linking sites consist of a primary and one or more satellite Luxor controllers connected by a Cat5/5e/6 cable. Sites are limited to nine satellite controllers for every one primary unit and/or 3,000 feet between the primary and the farthest satellite controller. 

Hardware Requirements:

Primary Controller

• Luxor ZD or Luxor ZDC – Manufacturing date code AUG16 or later

Satellite Controller

• LSAT300M or LSAT300SS
• Luxor ZD or Luxor ZDC – Manufacturing date code AUG16 or later can be retrofitted into a satellite controller by removing Facepack and updating chassis firmware

Communication Cable

• Direct burial Cat5/5e/6 cable

NOTE: Prior to running a Linking system, verify Primary and Satellite Luxors have the latest version of Facepack (Primary controller only) and chassis (Primary and Satellite) linking firmware.
